In 1999, Apple began with Scott as the sole technical team member, while Yiota managed accounts and deliveries, all while balancing the demands of a young family. Scott, a 1997 Dental Technician graduate, and Yiota, with experience as a Practice Manager and Dental Nurse, laid the foundation for Apple’s customer-focused approach.

From the beginning, our commitment has been to providing exceptional customer service to dental practices, highlighting the synergy between laboratories and surgeries. Over time, Apple has evolved from exclusively offering Removable Prosthetics to becoming a comprehensive multi-service laboratory. We now provide Crown and Bridge and Orthodontic services, fully embracing a digital workflow across the entire laboratory, marking the continued growth of our Apple family.

Meet Our Team

Proudly serving the dental community with precision and passion for over two decades.

Scott Freeman

Scott, serving as the Director of Apple Dental Laboratory, has a rich background in the field. He initially qualified as a Dental Technician in 1997 and later expanded his expertise by graduating as a Dental Prosthetist in 2011. Scott's specialisation lies in both Fixed and Removable Prosthetics, showcasing a comprehensive skill set honed through years of experience and dedicated study.

Yiota Freeman

Yiota, the Director of Apple Dental Laboratory since 1996, serves as both Accounts Manager and Laboratory Coordinator. Her extensive experience in the industry and dual role highlight her proficiency in financial management and efficient coordination of laboratory operations, contributing to the success of the dental laboratory.

Natsuko

Natsuko is our Dental Apprentice and swimming instructor. She has excellent fine motor skills and has joined the Prosthetics department. Her part-time job involves teaching children to swim. Natsuko loves to chat, so if you hear her on the phone, do not hesitate to say hello.

Hidenari

Hide, a seasoned ceramist, joined Apple after a distinguished career in Japan and Melbourne, specialising in high-end ceramics. A native of Japan, Hidenari graduated from the esteemed Osaka Training Centre, gaining extensive expertise in tooth morphology. He particularly excels in handling aesthetic cases and enjoys the challenge of intricate single centrals. Hide is highly trained in Matisse. Check out our Instagram for some amazing results.

Chateana

Our silent assassin, she is meticulous with detail and brings to Apple an extraordinary flair for Crown and Bridge with more than ten years of experience in New Zealand, Japan and now in Perth. Chatty is our pocket rocket at Apple.

Craig

With over 12 years of dedicated service, Craig has been an integral part of the Apple Dental team as a senior Prosthetics Technician. Boasting more than two decades of industry experience, Craig specialises in the meticulous manufacturing of Valplast flexible dentures. His expertise extends across all facets of removable prosthetics, showcasing a wealth of knowledge and skill in the field.

Sean

After graduating as a Dental Technician, Sean ventured into the culinary world as a Chef for a few years. However, he missed his original profession and has now returned to the dental industry with enthusiasm, bringing smiles to people’s faces.

Charlotte

Charlotte has joined Apple as an Apprentice and enjoys working in Prosthetics and Crown and Bridge. She has been involved in the industry for more than three years in Dental Nursing but decided she prefers hands-on work and wanted to further her studies as a Dental Technician.

Chiaki

Chiaki is currently studying to become a Dental Technician. She enjoys going to the beach and eating out, and she loves living in Australia.

Tayah

Tayah is currently working part-time at Apple, supporting the team across deliveries, marketing, and booking in work As the daughter of the business owner, she brings a personal touch and is always happy to help wherever needed

Gerry

Meet Gerry, our dedicated delivery driver affectionately known as "The Tooth Fairy". With over a decade of service at Apple, he has become an integral part of our team. Gerry, always punctual with his Bombers scarf and an aviation enthusiast with a 0600 hours spirit, is a familiar sight around the metropolitan area, ensuring timely deliveries and supporting the smooth operation of our team.
