Our Story
In 1999, Apple began with Scott as the sole technical team member, while Yiota managed accounts and deliveries, all while balancing the demands of a young family. Scott, a 1997 Dental Technician graduate, and Yiota, with a background as a Practice Manager/Dental Nurse, laid the foundation for Apple's customer-centric approach.
From the start, our commitment has been to exceptional customer service for dental practices, emphasizing the synergy between labs and surgeries. Over time, Apple evolved from exclusively providing Removable Prosthetics to becoming a comprehensive multi-service Laboratory. We now offer services in Crown and Bridge and Orthodontics, embracing a full Digital workflow across the entire Laboratory, marking the growth of our Apple family.
Meet the Team
Scott Freeman
Scott, serving as the Director of Apple Dental Laboratory, has a rich background in the field. He initially qualified as a Dental Technician in 1997 and later expanded his expertise by graduating as a Dental Prosthetist in 2011. Scott's specialization lies in both Fixed and Removable Prosthetics, showcasing a comprehensive skill set honed through years of experience and dedicated study.
Bruce
Bruce has significant experience with more years than you can Imagine . Trained in South Africa qualified in 1989 where he moved to the UK where he owned his own Lab for more than 15 years . Deciding to come to Australia he then lived in Brisbane working for an extraordinary Lab where his skillset was utilized. Now he resides in Perth and is our Senior CAD Technician and Ceramist .
Hidenari
Hide, a seasoned ceramist, joined Apple following a distinguished career in Japan and Melbourne, specializing in high-end ceramics. A native of Japan, Hidenari graduated from the esteemed Osaka training center, garnering extensive expertise in tooth morphology. He particularly excels in handling aesthetic cases and thrives on the challenge of intricate single centrals. Hide is highly trained in Matisse check out our instagram for some amazing results.
Craig
With over 12 years of dedicated service, Craig has been an integral part of the Apple Dental team as a senior Prosthetics Technician. Boasting more than two decades of industry experience, Craig specializes in the meticulous manufacturing of Valplast flexible dentures. His expertise extends across all facets of removable prosthetics, showcasing a wealth of knowledge and skill in the field.
Yiota Freeman
Yiota, the Director of Apple Dental Laboratory since 1996, serves as both Accounts Manager and Laboratory Coordinator. Her extensive experience in the industry and dual role highlight her proficiency in financial management and efficient coordination of laboratory operations, contributing to the success of the dental laboratory.
Natsuko
Natusko is our Dental Apprentice / swimming instructor .
She has excellent fine skills and has joined in Prosthetics, her part time job is teaching kids to swim . Nat loves to chat so if your hear her on the phone say hi .
Chateana
Our silent assassins' she is meticulous with detail and brings to Apple an extraordinary flair to Crown and Bridge with more than 10 years experience in NZ , Japan and now in Perth .
Chatty is our pocket rocket at Apple .
Morteza
With More than 3 years Experience Morteza has been a lab owner in Iran his home town . He has settled in at Apple and loves the challenges fsaced every day with Tricky shades and complex PFM's .
Logan
Logan, our enthusiastic apprentice at Apple, is eager to delve into the realm of Digital Dentistry. In his free time, he experiments with his digital printers, creating figurines for Warcraft.
Charlotte
Charlotte has joined Apple as an Apprentice and loves Pros and C+ B , she has been involved in the industry for more than 3 years in Dental Nursing but decided she loves hands on work , so wanted to study further as a Dental Technician .
Sean
After graduating as a Dental Technician, Sean ventured into the culinary world as a Chef for a few years. However, he missed his original skill and has now returned to the dental industry with enthusiasm, bringing smiles to people's faces.
Gerry
Meet Gerry, our dedicated delivery driver affectionately known as "The Tooth Fairy." With over a decade of service at Apple, he has seamlessly integrated into the core of our team. Gerry, always punctual with his Bombers scarf and an aviation enthusiast with a 0600hrs spirit, is a familiar sight around the metro area, ensuring timely deliveries and contributing to the smooth operation of our team.
